Privacy Notice
At Aanika Insurance Services, LLC (“Aanika,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we value your trust. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect nonpublic personal information (“NPI”) in compliance with the Gramm-Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA) and applicable state privacy laws.

About the GLBA
The Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLBA) is a federal law that requires financial institutions to protect the privacy and security of consumers’ personal information. The FTC’s Safeguards Rule, which implements the GLBA, requires companies like Aanika to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive written information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect customer data.
The Privacy Rule under the GLBA requires financial institutions, including insurance companies, to explain their information-sharing practices and to safeguard sensitive customer data. It gives consumers the right to understand how their nonpublic personal information (NPI) is collected, used, and shared, and, when applicable, the right to opt out of certain disclosures to nonaffiliated third parties. The rule ensures transparency and accountability by requiring clear, conspicuous privacy notices and maintaining protections for customer information.
